You've found an archeological treasure!

This Scythian Stag design was as a tattoo on the arm of the Scythian Ice Princess excavated in the Altai Mountains in Siberia. The artist was struck by this striking image and sculpted it in three-dimensional form as a bas relief. It's a highly unusual depiction of a wild animal recurved like a bow in such a way as to either to fit into a circle or possibly imagined in a hallucinogenic dream state. Such were the depictions of life on the Siberian steppes!
