Fibonacci Sequence Based on Number 3 - Hanging Sculpture
was inspired by the Philodendron vine the leaves of which layer on each other to look like giant elephant ears. They wrap around another vertical object like a  large tree trunk to most likely get more light. This intriguing effect in the very rainy tropical area of Kauai inspired/challenged me to render the same layering effect. Funny enough I had to see how the leaves spaced themselves on the vine to figure out how to weld it: this is how Fibonacci figures into this. I was very fortunate to find curved and flat geometric compound shapes that followed the leaves' shapes exactly!
